Cheerful and inquisitive Riley is eleven years old. For several years now, Riley has been friends with the same boys, goes to the same school, and is secretly in love with the same boy. But she doesn't realize that all her actions, thoughts and feelings are driven by five basic emotions that are in her head: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust. They are constantly quarreling and can't come to an agreement with each other, but at some point they will have to. Riley and her parents are moving to a metropolis, and if her emotions do not return to normal, a sharp change of scenery will severely affect the girl's condition.
